Essential Care Guidelines

Professional Installation

Extensions should always be installed by a licensed and extension-certified stylist. All installations are done at your own risk.

Pre-Installation Preparation

Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo before installation. Condition only the mid-lengths to ends, and avoid applying additional products.

Daily Styling

Extensions require styling to blend seamlessly with your natural hair. Be prepared to use round brushes, flat irons, or curling tools as needed.

Never Sleep with Wet Hair

Always ensure your hair is completely dry before bed to prevent matting and damage.

Washing Schedule

Wash your hair only once every 2-4 days. We recommend Alterna Caviar shampoos and conditioners in Bond Repair or Moisturizing formulas.

Leave-In Conditioner

Apply 7 Seconds Leave-In Conditioner by Unite after every wash to keep hair soft and manageable.

Daily Brushing

Brush your hair every morning, night, and after washing. Use a Wet Brush to prevent tangles and matting.

Oily Hair Care

Use dry shampoo between washes, or wash only the top section of your natural hair for a quick refresh.

Color Services

We do not recommend coloring extensions. Any coloring is done at your own risk and voids all warranties.

Normal Shedding

Light shedding is normal with all hair extensions and should not cause concern.

Swimming & Water Activities

Salt water and chlorine can be harsh on extensions. Follow these guidelines to protect your investment.

Pre-Swimming Protection

Immerse your hair in fresh water before entering chlorinated or salt water.

Secure Your Hair

Wear hair in a low ponytail - never in braids or messy buns. Use a clip to further secure hair to your head.

Post-Swimming Care

Spray with 7 Seconds Leave-In Conditioner and brush out immediately after exiting the water.

Discoloration & Troubleshooting

Discolored hair is typically caused by mineral deposits. Here's what different tones indicate:
